About this project
The World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of global happiness. Happiness scores are based on answers to the main life evaluation question asked in the poll. Following the happiness score are GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make choices, generosity and perceptions of corruption. They have no impact on the total score reported for each country, but they can, to some degrees, explain why some countries rank higher than others. The 4 quadrants are "Rich and Happy," 'Poor but Happy," "Poor and Unhappy," and "Rich but Unhappy."
