Hi, I'm Daniel, a data analyst with over 2 years of learning and working experience conducting deep-dive analysis into various metrics and presenting actionable insights in a way that's informative and engaging to stakeholders. I have a passion for finding patterns in complex datasets and utilise my strong background in data analysis, SQL, R, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and MS PowerBI to carry out analysis. Analyzed over 140k rows of data scrapped from a real estate website to identify factors that affect the cost of renting residential properties in Lagos, Nigeria.

• Carried out a comparative analysis of the audio features of albums by one of Africa's biggest acts, Davido. • Visualized the results of the analysis, highlighting key differences and similarities between the two albums.

1st Place Winner, DiceyTechXPlayhouse Communications “Hack the Feed” Hackathon

Analysed social media data from Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn to evaluate the efficiency of the stakeholder’s social media posts in driving brand awareness and community engagement and recommended new social media posting strategies based on insights derived from the analysis. My submission came first place in the hackathon out of over 400 entries.

Intern at TotalEnergies E&P Nigeria Ltd

Cleaned and maintained Excel sheets and recommended data validation techniques to mitigate data quality issues in the HR department, increasing the overall work efficiency by over 65%. Created reports, highlighting key metrics and insights relevant to the department utilising PowerBI and MS Powerpoint. Designed an absence scheduler with Excel that allowed the human resource department to keep track of employees’ past and future absences and improved event planning and attendance by 73% using the data collected with the scheduler.

Statistics for Data Analyst and Data Scientist 2023 at Udemy

The course covered, with practical examples: an introduction to statistics and statistical analysis, chi-square test of independence, one sample T-test, independent sample t-test, dependent (paired) sample t-test, correlation analysis, simple and multiple linear regression and interpretation of the results and analysis of variance. The test examples were done using SPSS and recreated by myself using R programming.
