Understanding traffic accident patterns through data analytics and visualization enables us to identify and implement traffic safety improvement strategies, including but not limited to improved roadway design. For this project, I created a Shiny app for evaluating and visualizing traffic accident risk for Nashville roadways based on 234,640 reported accidents between 2014–2021.
