Data Engineer | Snowflake Specialist

Company: BMW In this role, I used Python to ingest data from various sources, primarily AWS S3 buckets, into the Snowflake data warehouse. I was responsible for cleaning and testing the data, as well as creating and maintaining dashboards to support the team. I documented processes, designed new strategies, and contributed to the knowledge base on Confluence. Additionally, I monitored the Snowflake environment and AWS to ensure smooth operations. I implemented SNS topics to trigger Lambda functions when new data was added to S3, ensuring the data was automatically ingested into the database. I also provided ongoing support to product and other teams using Snowflake and troubleshot software issues by identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
