Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Financial Analysis

Dissertation on the goals set by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Bogor, Indonesia 1987 to be reached in 2020. Goals included free trade, international investment, and monetary/fiscal policy alignment. Project included breakdown of financial accounts of each of the member nations.

Scottish Fishing Industry

Used a dataset off of Kaggle on the Scottish Fishing Industry to build statistical analyses including visualizations. Then created a predictive classification model using a machine learning algorithm that can determine the region of Scotland that the catch record is from with 99% accuracy.

Bank Loan Approval Prediction

Built a predictive model that classifies if an applicant would be approved for a personal loan based on a variety of common financial and social factors that are often used in determining loan approval. Model has a 98% accuracy using a Deep Learning Classification neural network.

Forest Cover Classification

Created a classification model using a deep learning algorithm to accurately predict the class of our most common tree cover type for a geographic location in the Roosevelt National Forest in Colorado based solely on cartographic variables.

Airplane Price Prediction

Built a regression model to predict prices for airplanes sold on the consumer market using machine learning and deep learning algorithms to see which would best predict prices based on our dataset.

Precious Metals Markets Exploratory Data Analysis

A look at the Gold, Silver, and Platinum markets since 1968 in 3 different currencies - US Dollar, British Pound, and the Euro. Taking a look at the differences and similarities between these markets and drawing conclusions on the price data provided.
