Civil engineering degree from Heritage Institute of Technology

Civil engineering and data science differ fundamentally, yet they share key skills. Both require Excel proficiency, problem-solving, and project management. My curriculum also introduced me to SQL through RDBMS, a valuable tool in data science. Effective communication is crucial in both fields, whether dealing with clients in engineering or presenting insights in data analytics. Additionally, both demand adaptability and resilience in tackling challenges. These transferable skills create a strong foundation for transitioning into data analytics and finance.
