Exploratory Data Analysis for a Superstore Sale Dataset

With the use of python libraries such as pandas, seaborn and matplotlib, I explored the given dataset to discover trends and patterns. With further analysis, I was also able to find a correlation between sales and customer preferences and also the impact of various factors o profitability.

Sentiment Analysis of Hotel Reviews

With a given dataset containing hotel reviews from various locations around the world, data visualizations (seaborn and matplotlib) and sentiment analysis was conducted to discover hidden insights that will be crucial for the hotel's growth

Adult Income Census Analysis and Prediction

The goal was to predict if an adult earns over $50K or less. After exploring patterns and trends in the dataset, I moved on to model building. The models performed quite well as the feature (final weight) was a major contributor to its performance.

Data Science Virtual Intern at British Airways (FORAGE)

As a virtual intern at British Airways which I was able to access through Forage, I was able to get a feel of how the data science team works at BA. I performed tasks that involved scraping data from the airway website and performing analysis on it. I also performed the task of building a predictive consumer model to predict how the behavior of the airway's consumers. At the end of each task. I was provided with a template to present my analysis and also explain my findings to a non-technical audience.

Applied Data Science Lab at WorldQuant University

During my course of study, I completed eight end-to-end, applied data science projects. In each project, I accessed data from files, SQL and NoSQL databases and APIs. I also am able to explore and clean data, create functions and ETL pipelines to prepare training sets. I also learnt and built machine learning models for supervised and unsupervised learning tasks and I also created visualizations to explain data characteristics and model predictions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Python and Statistics for Financial Analysis

A four-week course offered by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology through Coursera. At the end of each week, an assessment was given to me. I gained more insights in skills such as statistical analysis, pandas, financial data analysis, data visualization and financial analysis.
