I graduated from UC San Diego and am looking to pivot my career into the field of data analytics after spending the past 3 years (2021 - 2024) as a primary caregiver to my father throughout his battle with cancer. I made the decision to begin studying the fundamentals of data analysis in 2023, and want to showcase some of my personal projects here!

Top Spotify Songs of 2023

This project uses the dataset 'Most Streamed Spotify Songs 2023,' uploaded to Kaggle by user 'nelgiriyewithana.' I used a Jupyter notebook to perform exploratory analysis and create many visualizations to identify top songs, artists, as well as identify key trends across popularly streamed songs.

NYPD Historic Arrests

This project utilized MySQL to clean NYPD historic arrests data (2006-2023), which is publicly available on NYC Open Data. Then visualizations were made in Tableau containing arrests over years, top 10 offenses, precinct/borough heatmap, and demographics information.

Coffee Sales Dashboard

Cleaned and transformed data from a coffee sales dataset consisting of 3 tables. Consolidated relevant customer and coffee product data onto one table. Created an interactive dashboard in Power BI with slicers/filters for date (month/year), loyalty card, roast type, and size.
