Experience
2023-2023
Data Scientist at Truist Bank
As Data scientist in Truist, formulated and evaluated predictive models using DataRobot, to understand employee attrition and provide data driven Insights to reduce retention challenges.
2022-2023
Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University
Collaborated on a project with Truist Bank to develop predictive models for recommendation systems based on graph data to market future retail or commercial products to the customer. Worked on a project with South East Regional Cooperative applying statistical analysis using Python and SQL to identify anomalous data and built Tableau dashboards for KPI’s that potentially let to a 5% increase in revenue.
2018-2018
Summer Research fellow at National Atmospheric Research Laboratory, India
Calculated distribution of error in weather forecast models using Bayesian statistical techniques, audited the current model and improved accuracy of numerical weather prediction models from 34% to 87%. Proposed and developed models to identify and eliminate errors in weather forecast data pertaining to temperature, pressure, wind speed and relative humidity from automatic weather stations in India.
2016-2016
Summer Research fellow at Indian Statistical Institute
Worked on statistical analysis of Electroencephalography data using R. Analyzed 1000+ records of EEG data collected for two different scenarios of an individual. Formulated 5 functions in R to calculate summary measures- arithmetic mean, median, mode, variance, and range.
2024 - Present
Data Scientist at Random Trees LLC
Developed a PyTorch implementation of VQA models using text and image transformers from Hugging face and compared various text-image encoder combinations. Conducts research and development on Visual language models like Groundlight AI and their tailored usecases in various domains.
Education
2022-2023
Masters in Data Science at Georgia State University
2014-2019
Masters in Statistics at Pondicherry University, India
