Verification of any information found online needs to be done to avoid the aftermath occurring after believing online news which are fake. Thus a machine learning model is created to analyse such news in relation to image contexts and classify them to the various levels of misclassification.

Machine Learning intern at STMicroelectronics
Collected data for hand gesture recognition using the Time of Flight (TOF) sensor and cleaned data to remove erroneous data points. Built a convolution neural network for the classification of hand gestures. Used Optuna for Bayesian hyper-parameter searching for fine-tuning of the CNN thereby giving an accuracy of 96%. Employed techniques such as L1, L2 regularization and Elastic Weight Consolidation (EWC) to retain acquired learnings and reduce catastrophic forgetting due to concept drift when updating (incrementing) the model.
