2018-2019
Data Engineering Intern
During my bachelor's degree, I was fortunate to secure an enriching opportunity as a Data Engineer Intern at Edventure Software Private Limited in Bangalore, India, from December 2018 to April 2019. This experience was a tremendous opportunity for me, allowing me to dive deep into the world of data engineering and apply my skills in Python, SQL, and database management to real-world projects, particularly in autonomous driving. Crafting insightful reports with Tableau and Power BI, and optimizing query performance in Azure SQL Database, broadened my expertise and fueled my passion for data analysis. This internship was a catalyst for my career growth, providing invaluable hands-on experiences.
Junior Data Scientist
Securing the role of Junior Data Scientist at Wipro Technologies in Hyderabad through college placements. I optimized database retrieval in Azure SQL, designed intricate data models, and developed predictive models using advanced techniques like logistic regression and random forest. Leveraging tools like DataBricks, I ensured efficient processing of large datasets. Despite being new to the field, I embraced challenges and contributed to impactful projects in the dynamic realm of data science.
2022-2023
Data Science Intern at FIU
In the realm of bioinformatics, I spearheaded the development of a cutting-edge Parkinson's disease microbiome pipeline, infusing it with innovation and fresh insights. I meticulously extracted Parkinson's disease data from the extensive SRA database, conducting a thorough analysis to derive actionable strategies. By evaluating various models such as SVM, Neural Networks, and Random Forests, I uncovered crucial insights for disease prediction. Additionally, I created and integrated efficiency-boosting plugins into the pipeline to enhance performance. Through seamless collaboration across teams, we overcame challenges in metagenomic data analysis, driving forward transformative advancements in bioinformatics research.
2023-2024
Junior Data Scientist
In the fast-paced world of fintech, I'm busy developing and deploying machine learning models using Azure ML Studio. With my team, we're collaborating closely, using tools like GitHub to keep track of our progress and share knowledge transparently. Our work involves getting our hands dirty with data, cleaning, and preparing it for analysis. We're also exploring LangChain for predictive maintenance and fault detection. One of our key focuses is enhancing our models with innovative features like debt-to-income ratios. Currently, we're working on seamlessly integrating our predictive model into the FinTech platform's loan approval process, providing real-time risk assessments to support informed decisions.
