I build the data systems institutions make decisions with. As Research Officer at the Kenya Institute of Special Education, I lead monitoring, evaluation and data work as the institution's sole data specialist—a national field data pipeline across 38 counties, and an 80,000 analysis data warehouse built from handwritten clinic registers. My work sits where messy real-world data meets a decision someone has to make. I also work on product and revenue analytics, because the question is the same in both: who's dropping off, why and what does it cost?
