2023-2023
Marketer/Entry Data Analyst at Holley Metering Limted
Assisted in data collection and analysis for various projects using excel, conducted data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability, developed and implemented data visualization dashboards using tools like Tableau, Collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify key insights and trends and supported the creation of data-driven reports and presentations for stakeholders.
2024
Network Engineer at Access Bank PLC
Network Access Issue Due to Spanning Tree Loop Overview: Faced with an inconsistency in network access, with some users unable to access the network while others had no issues. Through systematic troubleshooting, I identified and resolved a network loop caused by incorrect switch configurations. Key Actions: Investigated the switch’s MAC address table and confirmed some ports weren’t learning devices. Ran ping tests and found failed connections. Checked STP status and identified a discarding port and MAC address flapping. Discovered an incorrect switch connection causing an STP loop. Corrected the connection, reconfigured STP settings, and ensured proper root bridge election. Outcome: Restored full network connectivity and resolved the loop, ensuring future prevention through STP config.

Network Engineer at Access Bank PLC
Slow Network Performance Diagnosis Overview: Users were experiencing slow internet speeds across the company's network. Troubleshooted to identify the root cause and optimize network performance. Key Actions: Used ping tools to check for latency and packet loss at various network points. Analyzed bandwidth usage with puTTY to identify congestion and overutilized links. Reviewed switch and router configurations, checking for issues like duplex mismatches and incorrect MTU settings. Assessed the need for QoS (Quality of Service) to prioritize critical traffic such as VoIP. Implemented load balancing and traffic shaping to optimize bandwidth usage and improve traffic flow. Solution: Discovered a duplex mismatch in one of the links which was causing errors. Hardcore and clear counter.
Education
2016-2022
B Eng. Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the University of Ilorin
It covers a broad range of topics, including fundamental principles, circuit analysis, electronics, digital systems, signals and systems, electromagnetics, power systems, microprocessors, communication systems, and instrumentation and control. The curriculum incorporates theoretical understanding, practical skills, and ethical considerations, often including hands-on experiences through laboratories and capstone projects.
2023-2024
Data Visualization with Tableau at the University of California, Davis on Coursera
This specialization is about how to generate powerful reports and dashboards that help people understand and draw insights from data. Using tableau, the leading software application in the field, to create high-impact visualizations of common data analyses and apply predictive analytics to improve business decision making. The specialization culminated in a capstone project in which sample data was used to create visualizations, dashboards and data models to prepare a presentation to the executive leadership of a fictitious company.
2024
CCNA 200-301(Certified Cisco Networking Associate)
The CCNA 200-301 certification validates essential networking skills required to install, configure, and troubleshoot networks. The certification covers key areas such as: Network Fundamentals: Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and basic network protocols. Routing and Switching: Configuration of routers and switches, including OSPF and VLANs. Network Security: Fundamentals of securing network devices and data. IP Services: Knowledge of DHCP, NAT, and VPN technologies. Automation and Programmability: Introduction to automation tools and concepts for network management. This certification demonstrates proficiency in building and maintaining reliable networks and serves as a foundation for further career growth in network engineering.
